Sennheiser UK LTD has extended the warranty on most models of their popular Evolution wired microphone series from one year to ten years. The ten-year warranty applies to all Evolution wired microphones sold starting March 1st, 2003. The move underscores the ruggedness and reliability that are hallmarks of the Evolution line and calls attention to the gulf that exists between Sennheiser's precision engineering and the competition.

We provide a 12 month warranty on our products, excluding accessories and rechargeable batteries supplied with the product. We guarantee accessories and rechargeable batteries separately for 6 months. The period of warranty commences at the date of purchase. The warranty only assumes validity if the date of purchase is confirmed by an official receipt issued at the time of purchase. If Sennheiser is not in the possession of this receipt, you are liable to pay the costs of any repair.

Within the period of warranty, we will remove any defects in the product due to material or manufacturing faults free of charge by either repairing or replacing parts or the products as we deem appropriate. The warranty does not encompass the following: damage due to improper use (incorrect operation by the user, operation with wrong current supply or voltage, connection to unsuitable power sources, breakage etc), normal wear and tear and defects which have inconsequential effect on the value or performance of the product. The warranty automatically expires if repair measures are undertaken by persons not authorised to do so. In the event of making a claim under warranty, please return the complete product (incl. accessories), in the original packing if possible, together with your receipt to your dealer, or if the product is outside of the normal one year warranty, send it to your local Sennheiser distributor. Carriage and return carriage charges are the customer's responsibility and are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty does not affect your claims to warranty against the seller resulting from the purchasing contract.
Claims under warranty can be made in any country with no regulations to the contrary. This warranty applies to products purchased from 1^st March 2003 onwards.
