| Sennheiser Golf Day generates £25,000 for Charity |
 |

The ever-popular Sennheiser Golf Challenge Trophy in July saw 76 customers and staff take to the fairways at Mill Ride Golf Club in Ascot, which culminated in a sensational £25,000 being raised for charity. Bunkers and well-honed wit was the order of the day for several players who had not swung a club in anger since the previous year. The more serious golfer however strived to keep the bogeys at bay ? none more so than this year's champion, Praful Patel (ASK Electronics) who recorded an outstanding gross score of one under par. Congratulations are also due to runner-up Ramesh Dattani of HiWay Hi-Fi, and third place went to Howard Till of Canegreen.
This year's nominated charity is the Caron Keating Foundation, and Sennheiser Director of Marketing John Steven, shared "Special thanks are due to each and every player for digging deep on the day to benefit such a worthy cause. The Caron Keating Foundation offers financial support to both carers as well as individuals and families who are affected by cancer. It also financially helps a number of cancer charities with their ongoing quest for prevention and hopefully ultimate cure. Most of us know someone who has been touched by the disease and it is truly heartwarming to see the overwhelming generosity from everyone here tonight."
Tony Molloy of Corporate Direct topped the evening's bids by offering over £4200 for Brian May's Guitar and the limited edition Self Portrait by Caron Keating.
