Klein and Hummel launch mobile wireless PA-speaker
19.09.2005 Sennheiser U.K

This transportable, self-powered loudspeaker equipped with built-in amplifier and rechargeable battery provides total independence from AC power at any place you like. Up to four SENNHEISER evolution wireless G2 receivers can be built into two compartments for wireless reception of audio signals.

The freePORT PAS 400 is based on a state-of-the-art 3-chassis design. This concept in combination with a sophisticated electronic circuitry provides performance and flexibility advantages unattainable until now.

The high-power amplifier in combination with very efficient speakers affords high SPL, greater range, more optimal coverage, and outstanding feedback immunity. This results in a clear and undistorted sound quality combined with good intelligibility for speech and music reproduction.

Versatile applications include both indoor and outdoor use with natural sound reproduction for audiences up to 400. It is easy to setup and use within seconds. In multiple applications such as conferences, trade shows, lectures and training sessions, it is an ideal companion at banquets, parties, sporting events, schools, houses of worship, theatres, fitness clubs and for any occasion where flexibility and freedom are essential.

Two microphone inputs, one with phantom power for condenser microphones, are included together with a dedicated mixing channel for up to four built-in SENNHEISER evolution wireless G2 receivers. A selection of input/output connectors enable it to be linked with devices such as portable CD players, additional mixers and amplifiers.

The built-in high-performance rechargeable battery allows for up to 13 hours of operating time in wireless mode.
