Sennheiser Golf Day generates £20,000 for Charity
27.09.2005 Sennheiser UK

August saw the 10th Sennheiser Golf Day take place at Mill Ride Golf Club near Ascot which culminated in a sensational £20,000 being raised on the day for charity. The 72 guests, who had travelled from as far a field as Wales and the north of England, will have woken up to depressing drizzle covering most of the south east. However, as every golfer knows, it never rains on a golf course and by lunch time the suncream was out.

Congratulations are due to Jatish Patel from ASK Electronics who completed the 18 hole Stableford competition with a record 47 points to win the 2005 Sennheiser Challenge Trophy.

This year's nominated charity is the Caron Keating Foundation which was created to help individuals and families affected by cancer. The golf was the perfect preamble for the evening's charity dinner said Paul Whiting, managing director. This year we decided not to push too hard as we realized many of our business partners will have supported worthy causes such as the Tsunami Appeal and Live 8. Everyone who took part in golf day was very generous and special thanks are due to each and every player for digging deep on the day to benefit such a worthy cause.
