From May, Sennheiser's clip-on classic, the MKE 2, will be available for evolution wireless bodypack transmitters, adding another professional tool to Sennheiser's most successful range of wireless musician's microphones. The MKE 2 ew Gold is an ideal choice for all areas of vocal transmission or instrument pick-up.

The sub-miniature MKE 2 ew Gold fulfills the most stringent demands on sound quality and ruggedness in live work. The back-electret condenser microphone is able to handle very high sound pressure levels without distortion. It exhibits an extremely flat frequency response curve and is very insensitive to structure-borne noise. The MKE 2 ew Gold is fitted with Sennheiser's dual - Umbrella - diaphragm for increased moisture protection, with the second diaphragm shielding the acoustically active one. The clip-on microphone is delivered complete with windshield, microphone clip and two caps for altering its frequency response curve.
