IR Projects
Various system solutions with infrared components have already been simulated and verified using the Sennheiser EASE-IR software. The calculation package allows planned installations to be investigated and possible problems to be recognized and solved in advance. A typical example of the usefulness of the software is presented here for the project "Convention Center, Hanover Exhibition Grounds?"
Convention Center, Hanover Exhibition Grounds
The general project requirement was to equip the three main halls with a ten-channel interpreting system.
The Convention and Congress Center at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover, Germany, was entered into EASE-IR for design and simulation in order to produce a complete solution. It was necessary to create computer-based models for the three main halls in particular. An important part of the design was to take into account the high noise level caused by sunlight shining through the huge glass windows. This occurs in all three of the conference halls.
