Sennheiser presents five new HD 400 series Models
- Flexible, multi-purpose headphones
- Designed for portable and home use
- All models come with attractive pricing and sleek styling,
- Excellent sound quality and Sennheiser's Two-Year guarantee
Strong emphasis on design as well as performance.
Sennheiser expands its full-sized HD headphone range with
five new models optimised for iPods and MP3 players, but also
delivering great sound on home hi-fi
The HD 418, HD 428, HD 438 and HD 448 are closed, circumaural
headphones, able to effectively attenuate ambient noise. The open
HD 408 fulfils the strong demand for an open headphone model at
the £40 price point.
As many users prefer a bass-driven sound, the HD 408, HD 418
and HD 428 feature a strong, powerful bass. The HD 428 has the
same level of bass as the HD 418 but with stronger passive noise
attenuation.
The HD 438 and HD 448 provide a step up in sound quality in terms
of a more balanced sound, focussing on the clarity of vocals and
instruments instead of bass.
The HD 448 provides the best sound quality in the range.
The Range
HD 408 OPEN
HD 418 CLOSED
HD 428 CLOSED
HD 438 CLOSED
HD 448 CLOSED
CLOSED means closed-back design, specifically
made for public transport and noisy environments
Where many headphones leak sound in every direction, these
closed back designs reduce background noise and allow the user
to listen at lower volumes. As little sound leaks out, other travellers
are not irritated and the user's hearing is protected.

car. The HD 428 has a dark rubber coating for a rugged, sporty feel
