Rycote Release Mini Windjammer for Sony HDR FX-1 and HVR-Z1 HDV
Rycote the world leader in professional microphone windshielding, has announced the release of a new Mini Windjammer, custom designed for Sony camcorders HDR FX-1 and HVR-Z1 HDV Professional.
With the demand for more professional recording by consumers and semi-pro users and the ever-increasing requirement for one-man operation of video and sound recording for ENG and Corporate A/V, the Sony camcorders have rapidly established their popularity and are being used in applications that require good wind-noise reduction with minimal signal attenuation at the microphone.
Manufactured from Rycote's custom synthetic fur, which is well proven for it's excellent wind-noise reduction properties, the Mini Windjammer is designed to fit snugly around the microphone whilst allowing use of the camcorder shoe fitting. An elasticated strap and press fastener allow quick and easy fitting and removal.
