Escape from the Stress of Everyday Life - Immerse Yourself in Sound
22.12.2005 Wedemark

Audio specialist Sennheiser is launching its new CX 300 ear-canal phones - the perfect fit for portable multimedia equipment.  The CX 300 will be presented to the public for the first time at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas at the beginning of January.

Portable multimedia devices are the modern traveling companions for today's mobile society.  Whether they are used for music, videos or games, these mobile companions can provide peace and relaxation or action and fun - a welcome escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life.  The ideal acoustic link between the listener and the mobile player is guaranteed by the new CX 300 ear-canal phones, which fit perfectly into the ear canal and provide optimum insulation against surrounding noise.  Listeners can now immerse themselves in their favorite sounds without being disturbed by the noise of everyday life.

Just as music lovers put together their own individual MP3 collection that is ideally suited to their taste, the CX 300 perfectly adapts itself to the contours of the ear canal.  It comes with ear adapters in three different sizes that guarantee a comfortable fit.  Optimum wearing comfort is also ensured by the asymmetrical cable, allowing the CX 300 to do what it does best: provide rich sound with powerful bass.  Its frequency response of 18 to 21,000 Hz makes these mini ear-canal phones a true giant in terms of performance.  With their classic, clean design - with a choice of a black or silver finish according to your taste - the CX 300 can compete with the even most futuristic portable multimedia equipment.

As one of the world's leading manufacturers of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems, the Sennheiser Group with its headquarters in Wedemark near Hanover, Germany, had total sales of about €262 million in 2004. The export share is 83%. Sennheiser has a total workforce of more than 1,600 employees, of whom about 60% are employed in Germany. Sennheiser is active worldwide and, in addition to other partnerships, has its own sales subsidiaries in France, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, China, Singapore, Canada, Mexico and the USA.
