| With the HME 43, Sennheiser presents an attractively-priced pilot's headset |
The new HME 43-K headset; designed to assist pilots in doing their job to their best ability! It is lightweight, has generous soft padding, excellent speech transmission and is protected against noise surges by ActiveGardTM. The HME 43-K is an attractively-priced addition to the Sennheiser product range with all the advantages of established Sennheiser technology.
When flying, so much depends on perfect communication that pilots require headsets with excellent speech intelligibility and high comfort levels, as they sometimes have to wear the headphone-microphone combination for many hours at a time. Sennheiser´s new HME 43-K for airlines and business jets proves that such headsets don´t have to cost a fortune. "With the HME 43-K we have added a low-cost model to our product range", says Jörg Buchberger, Sennheiser´s Product Manager for aviation. "Lowering cost does not mean however, lowering comfort standards or transmission reliability".
At only 95 grams in weight, the new headset is very light. Generous, soft padding both in the extra large ear pads and the adjustable headband make for a safe and comfortable fit. The noise-compensated condenser microphone can be worn alternatively on the left or on the right and has a 300 degree radius. In addition, the pilot can adjust the microphone sensitivity according to his needs. "Precise crystal-clear voice transmission is exceptionally important for pilots," says Product Manager Jörg Buchberger, "therefore the HME 43-K offers not only a first-class microphone but also protection against noise surges by ActiveGardTM. Such noise surges, transmitted by the radio, can cause permanent damage to an individuals' hearing and disturb communication considerably."
The HME 43-K is supplied complete with a windshield for the microphone, a cable clip and a practical pouch for storage and transport. Every HME 43-K comes with a two-year guarantee.
