The 93-year-old company founder is still in the best of health and had asked Rolf Meyer, President Marketing and Sales, to say how delighted he was to receive this international award.
Another MIPA award, presented in the "Live Microphone" category, went to the new Sennheiser SKM 5200 radio microphone with a Neumann capsule. The award-winners were chosen by more than 80 professional audio and musicians' magazines from all over the world. More than 300 international manufacturers and suppliers of musical instruments and audio equipment took part in this year's seventh MIPA award ceremony, including guests from the USA, Canada, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Poland, the UK, Italy, France, Greece, the Benelux countries, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
