Sennheiser at IBC 2004 - Introducing Brand-New Headmics and 3000 Series Antenna Combiner

At IBC in Amsterdam, 10 - 14 September 2004, audio specialists Sennheiser will introduce a new range of professional headmics, the HSP Series.  As part of the professional 3000 RF Wireless Series, Sennheiser is launching the AC 3000, an antenna combiner for creating high-quality 8-channel monitoring systems.

The HSP Series of professional headmics consists of the omni-directional HSP 2 and the cardioid HSP 4.  Both models are extremely unobtrusive yet rugged and are available in black or beige.  The ear-bows are made from robust β-titanium, the neckband is fully adjustable.  The microphone boom attaches to the left or right-hand side and both length and angle are adjustable.  The HSP 4 additionally features a flexible gooseneck section for optimum positioning of the mic capsule.  The headmics have an exchangeable cable with a choice of 3.5 mm jack connector, Lemo connector or an unterminated cable with tinned ends.  As Product Manager Stephan Schertan notes, "Artists and sound engineers love these headmics.  The design looks delicate and unobtrusive - but they are extremely robust.  Modular design, full sound and comfort are the hallmarks of this new series."

Following close on the introduction of the ASA 3000 antenna splitter for the professional 3000 RF Wireless Series, Sennheiser now launches the AC 3000 antenna combiner.  This rugged 19" unit is an ideal choice for creating high-quality 8-channel wireless monitoring systems for stage use or talk-back applications, for example in TV studios.  Up to eight SR 3054 transmitters or four SR 3056 twin transmitters connect to the AC 3000, which combines their signals onto a single antenna.  Featuring broadband inputs and outputs, the antenna combiner has eight LEDs to indicate RF power at its inputs.  It is supplied complete with rack-mounting kit.

Also on show will be the complete 3000 and 5000 RF Wireless Series, selected products from the new evolution wireless G2 range, dynamic microphones, Sennheiser's unique MKH range of RF condenser microphones plus professional headphones and headsets.
