Sennheiser Electronic Asia signs up Taiwanese singer Fei Yu Chin to endorse its professional microphone series - the Evolution 550 series.

Fei Yu Chin, also known as "Pop Music's Evergreen", is the latest pop artiste to be signed on by Sennheiser Electronic Asia to endorse Sennheiser's microphones, the Evolution 550 series.

Sennheiser Electronic Asia has a strong and active artiste relations programme, constantly seeking artistes of caliber in Asia to work with. Sennheiser worldwide has collaborated with well-known international artistes like Whitney Housten, Kylie Minogue, Sting, Shakira, Avril Lavigne, Norah Jones, Jamiroquai, etc..

In Singapore as part of his World Concert Tour series, Fei Yu Chin will stage two sold-out concert performances on 17 and 18 July, with tickets already fully booked one month in advance. He will perform his familiar evergreen favourites at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Fei Yu Chin did a full house concert to a 9000 strong audience last year in Singapore.

Sennheiser's Marketing Manager, Ms Maria Yap says of the endorsement, "We are pleased to have Fei Yu Chin as our newest Sennheiser supporting artiste. Fei Yu Chin is well-known in Asia, respectable, and has a strong fan following of all ages throughout his long career of over 25 years."

As a sponsored artiste of Sennheiser Asia, Fei Yu Chin will be presented specially with a microphone set, the Sennheiser Evolution 550 series by the Managing Director of Sennheiser Electronic Asia, Mr. S F Ho, at a private ceremony.

The Evolution  550 is a top end professional series designed to meet the high demands of professional sound equipment providers and musicians on tour. At the heart of the series is the EM 550 twin receiver which comes with two 500 series transmitters. The 19" True Diversity twin receiver is fitted with an integrated active antenna splitter, which allows several receivers to be cascaded without the need for additional equipment. Other features for the true professional include two transformer-balanced audio outputs, an integrated switched-mode power supply and Soundcheck mode for checking RF and AF levels.

Fei Yu Chin's best selling records has sold in markets like Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and the USA where he has a strong following. His public appearances are always spectacular, regardless of where he may be. His television programmes, such as "On Top of the Rainbow," "Dragon and Tiger Brothers," "Golden Voice" and his current variety show still to this day rank as one of North American Chinese Television's top programmes. He has a huge fan base speaks of his universal appeal. Fans all over the world attend his sold out concerts in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Australia, Vietnam, United States, Canada, Japan and Indonesia.

In 2003, Fei Yu Chin gave 7 exclusive concerts in Taiwan. Last Christmas, Fei Yu Chin was invited by the Mohegan Sun Casino in America to perform two concerts, where attendance totaled over 8,000 fans. On Mother's Day, he was invited for the fifth straight year to perform at Las Vegas' newest theatre, the Orleans Arena, where he captivated huge crowds with his voice. This July, he performs 2 concerts in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, where seating capacity totals 9000 strong, with tickets fully sold out in advance. This 2003, he has performed 19 concerts as part of his World Concert Tour series this year.
